Custom Abrasive Blasting Services

Custom Abrasive Blasting Services

The custom abrasive blasting services that we offer at Accurate Metals are suitable for armor plating, heavy duty vehicle parts, OEM or other components that require surface cleaning. We use steel grit or steel shot, depending on job requirements, and can accommodate both low and high volume jobs.

Shot blasting takes place in our blasting booth which can accommodate parts with dimensions up to 20' x 8' x 10'. We also utilize an automatic recovery system which increases our cost effectiveness and efficiency. We also have three wheelabrator tumble shot blasters; this allows parts of up to 75 lbs. to be quickly and efficiently blasted with steel shot. Both types of abrasive blasting efficiently remove mill scale, heat treat scale, and rust. We deliver parts ready for priming and painting. Our six fleet trucks deliver components for free to customers within 150 miles of our Rockland, Illinois or Milwaukee, Wisconsin facilities.
