We offer clients plasma cutting services for stainless steel up to 1.5 in. thick and steel up to 2 in. thick. Our equipment and facility allow us to efficiently work with pieces up to 40 ft in length and as wide as 10 ft.

Our capabilities allow us to meet the most exacting specifications with tolerances of ± 0.015 in., on gauges up to 0.5 in., ± 0.030 in. for gauges between 0.5 and 1 in., and ± 0.060 in. for gauges of 1 to 2 in. We can provide plasma cutting services for various metals, including steel, stainless steel, low alloy steel, and alloy steel.

Plasma Cutting 101
Plasma cutting, or plasma arc cutting, is a fabrication process that uses superheated, ionized gas to cut metal into custom shapes and designs. The plasma torch utilizes a copper nozzle to constrict and focus the stream of plasma. The nozzle contains an electrode that creates an arc between the electrode and the material to be cut. The compressed gas stream, combined with the electrical charge running through it, creates an intense, highly accurate stream capable of quickly and easily creating precision cuts in most metals.
CNC Plasma Cutting
Manual plasma cutting is often employed for small jobs that do not require a great deal of precision. In contrast, CNC, or Computer Numerical Control, plasma cutting services is employed to cut with the great accuracy necessary for many manufacturing and critical applications. CNC plasma cutting enables the operator to enter numerical codes into the computer system to direct the machine's motion, controlling the path of the plasma torch, and allowing for repeated precision cuts.
